Coronavirus - General Information
Tue 17 Mar 2020Handwashing advice
The most important thing individuals can do to protect themselves is to wash their hands more often, for at least 20 seconds, with soap and water. Public Health England recommends that in addition to handwashing before eating, and after coughing and sneezing, everyone should also wash hands after using toilets and travelling on public transport.

Communications update 17th March 2020
Tue 17 Mar 2020Dear Parents and Carers
Re: Update regarding coronavirus and school communications
Government advice is being updated regularly, and we are reacting to the ongoing situation. Unfortunately our communciations systems, which we have used successfully for a number of years, are proving to be inadequate under the current exceptional circumstances.
From this point forward we will be using Tapestry and our new school website to communicate quickly and effectively. This is in readiness for any necessary actions such as reduced classes or school closures because of staff absence or government directives.
Unfortunately as I have Type 1 diabetes it seems I will be asked to reduce social contact after the weekend, and so it is regretful that at this worrying time for all, I will not be able to be the visible face of the school. I will of course continue to lead the school in partnership with Mrs Stainsbury, but with greatly reduced personal contact.
Please check the website and tapestry daily to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.
Mrs Allard
